KMU President invites to join us for our 30th ANNIVERSARY Celebration

We are delighted to invite all members of the Kyiv Medical University community to attend the Celebration of the 30th ANNIVERSARY of Kyiv Medical University, which will be held on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. This is a great opportunity and special occasion to express our sincere gratitude for all the generous support from the government, local community, partners, school members and our thousands of graduates in the last 30 years.

In these past years we were preparing for this Anniversary Year with a series of events to celebrate our extraordinary achievements as Ukraine’s first private medical university-ranging from research forums, seminars and symposia, to sporting, cultural and civic events, providing unprecedented opportunities to bring together our students, staff, alumni, friends and our wider community to mark this very significant milestone with us. Even though we were not prepared for the challenges caused by russiasts. Therefore the initial offline Celebration will be not so grandiose, as it was planned with the opportunity to join it via online and send video greetings.

The determined founders who established this institution in 1992 had a deep-seated commitment to education that continues today. In choosing the motto “Better Education. Better Health” – they threw down a challenge which a generation of Ukrainian finest young men and women has joyously met.

Today the Kyiv Medical University enjoys an international reputation for research and teaching excellence. We have combined the traditions of our history with modern approaches. Our researchers have pushed the boundaries of academic endeavour and our graduates – enriched by all that the KMU education has to offer – have made their mark around the world.

These are some of the stories we want to share.

I feel greatly privileged to be President of this fine University and I welcome you to join me in this celebration of our past and to work with us to achieve our goals in the years ahead.
