Faculty of MedicinePolesova Tamila, Candidate of Science in Medicine, Associate Professor. Polesova Tamila Raviilievna graduated from Donetsk National Medical University in 2006. After completing her studies, she earned a full higher education degree in the field of Pediatrics and became a qualified doctor. In 2019, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences in the specialty of 14.01.22- rheumatology in the specialized academic council D 11.600.07 at Donetsk National Medical University. In 2022, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. In 2020, she graduated from the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy with a degree in “Public Administration” and received a master’s degree. In 2021, she graduated from the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogical Academy with a degree in “Educational and Pedagogical Sciences” and received a master’s degree. Since 2015, she has been working as an assistant and later as an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Neonatology, and Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Donetsk National Medical University. Publications: 64 publications, including 54 scientific and 10 educational-methodical, including scientific works published in peer-reviewed professional publications, of which 5 publications in periodicals included in the Web of Science and Scopus bibliographic databases. Participated in conferences, including conferences in EU countries (France, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Germany, Austria, South Korea).

The faculty has 67 employees, including 13 doctors of science, 11 professors, 32 associate professors, 33 candidates of science. There are 3 Honored Figures of Science and Technology of Ukraine, 3 Honored Doctors of Ukraine among university lecturers. Such academic structure of the faculty allows us to develop and implement the latest technologies, methods, and scientific developments to promote the effective educational and therapeutic process. Based on standard educational programs, each faculty created thematic plans of lections, practical lessons, and seminars optimal for their conditions, which are coordinated and approved during the cycle methodical commissions of the faculty. Most of the departments of the faculty published textbooks in Ukrainian and training manuals for students, also created computer programs for studying and checking the knowledge’s level of the relevant field. All departments of the faculty have modern computer equipment that can help widely to use the testing of the students’ knowledge and their practical skills in the processing of studying. Each department of the faculty is the research team that can plan their scientific work by themselves. In addition, to such kind of work, they can involve members of the student scientific society. Therapeutic and consultative work is carried out by the specialists of the faculty in the basic departments of hospitals, polyclinics, besides that annually they add tens of new diagnostic and therapeutic methods that can make better the level of providing specialized medical care to the population in Kyiv and Kyiv region. Training bases of clinical departments are located in the largest medical institutions in Kyiv, such as Kyiv hospital #1, Central Clinical Hospital, Neurosurgery Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, etc. The faculty creates all necessary conditions for achieving the main goal – the training of a highly qualified doctor. There are only 12-14 students in one group, which can help to individualize the educational process. There are 5 auditoriums for lectures, which have modern equipment. Students have seminars and practical lessons in a laboratory and thematic rooms, and clinical lessons they have near patient’s bed and in the cabinets of functional, laboratory, and by instrument diagnostics. |
