The lecturers of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy and the students of the Faculty of Dentistry joined a volunteer initiative

On October 3 and November 7, 2025, the faculty members of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy, together with students of the Dentistry program, came together for a good cause — creating trench candles for our defenders.

The event was initiated and organized by Iryna Mykolaivna Tymchenko, PhD in Medical Sciences, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy, along with Oleksandra Tsopa, a student of the Dentistry Faculty, group C2305. The initiative also involved the Deputy Head of the Department, Kateryna Marchenko-Tolsta, lecturers Sepideh Parchami Ghazae, Larysa Novikova, Liudmyla Kirkilevska, and students from groups C2302 and CK2301.

Throughout the activity, a warm and friendly atmosphere prevailed. Faculty members and students not only crafted candles but also shared their reflections on the importance of volunteerism, mutual support, and unity during challenging times for the country.

Such initiatives help students develop not only professional skills but also civic awareness, love for their homeland, and a readiness to help others.

The Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy extends heartfelt thanks to all participants for their dedication, engagement, and willingness to do good deeds.
