Admission Requirements
In accordance with the mission of the University – “In relentless pursuit of excellence, to educate, to search, to heal and to serve humanity,” every graduate of the Study programs of KMU is expected to become a change agent in society. The main objective of the Program is to train competent health care professionals who are able to perform organizational, diagnostic, medical and research activities in compliance with national and international standards, as well as to be committed to the principles of humanism, medical ethics and patient safety. Graduates must be able to work in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams, develop, implement, and disseminate projects that impact health promotion, especially aimed to fulfill the local community needs.
There are two admission sessions in 2025. The first one lasts from March, 24 till May, 1 while the second one – from July, 7 and till November, 1.
The University announces admission for such major faculties as Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy in Ukrainian and in English medium.
APPLYING PROCEDURE
Kyiv Medical University offers admission offline in Kyiv, offline in Poland or distant admission. Choose the best option for you and follow the instructions.
Offline admission in Kyiv:
- To Apply for an Electronic Invitation Letter
Receive an electronic invitation letter at https://apply.studyinukraine.gov.ua/home
- To Apply for Visa
When an applicant receives an Invitation Letter from the University, he/she should apply for visa type ‘D’.
After receiving the visa, please inform Dean when you will come. Dean`s office will help with support letter for transit visa.
- To Apply for a Faculty
On arrival submit:
- School Certificate (original + copy);
- Passport (original + visa page copy);
- Medical Insurance;
- 12 matte photos (3.5 x 4.5);
Documents must be translated to Ukrainian and notarized; certificate must be legalized.
A validation procedure by the Ministry of Education is required. The applicant then passes 3 tests: Language, Chemistry, Biology. After success – admission order is issued.

Offline admission to the Polish campus:
(Only for EU residents or those with visa-free access)
- Apply for electronic invitation
- Inform Dean (email: o.khomiak@kmu.edu.ua) when coming
- Submit same documents as above. Validation and tests required.

Distant Admission:
- Apply for electronic invitation
- Submit scanned documents to KMU: certificate, passport, insurance, photos
- Documents translated, notarized, legalized. Validation is mandatory.
- Pass remote entry exams (language, chemistry, biology) with video recording.
