Meeting with representatives of the Iranian embassy

Kyiv Medical University provides international activities and fruitfully cooperates with the Embassies of different countries.

On July 16, the Rector of the University prof. Borys Ivnyev and the Head of the International Department Konstantin Kachan had a meeting with the Third Secretary, the Consul of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ms. Makhnaz Kazemi, and the Consular Officer, Ms. Zeynep Memetova.

The conversation has covered general issues and prospects of education of Iranian students at higher educational institutions of Ukraine and, in particular, at Kyiv Medical University, where the Iranian student’s cohort consists of more than 100 people.

Particular attention was paid to issues of cooperation with organizations that support the training of foreigners. Ms. Kazemi has informed that citizens of Iran can apply directly to the Embassy, ​​where the Department of Culture and Education operates. Afterwards, the Department can help to resolve any issues related to their residency in Ukraine.

In addition, the Rector of the University informed that all foreign students may and should contact the dean’s office of the International faculty directly regarding all issues related to their studies and staying in Ukraine.

Such format of the meetings is an example of productive joint work of the University and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The University administration will continue to promote such cooperation.
