Meeting of Representatives of the KMU Student Council with the Minister of Information Policy, Yuriy Stets!

On November 24, the members of the Student Council of the Kyiv Medical University were given a unique opportunity to attend the meeting of the Student Council under the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the MIP).

The University was represented by: the head of the student council Mykola Hryshkov, Student Council members: Vladislav Gladkov, Vladislav Mikhalchuk, Olena Malanchuk and Natalia Muzika.

The topic of the discussion was “Results of the Student Council’s work at the Ministry of Information Policy in 2018 and the discussion of projects of the Student Council in 2019”. Yuriy Stets, The Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine greeted the students with warm words. Students raised many questions to the Minister that were met with in-depth answers. Yuriy Stets also urged young people not to be indifferent to their country – join the Student Council at the MIP and help to move forward.

Following the speech of the Minister, Vladislav Berezovsky, curator of Student Council, presented a report on the work of the Student Council for 2018, which proved to be very productive and deep. The year started from the “Born in Vyshyvankas” project, and the popularization and presentation of the documentary film about Ukraine titled “Thank you” in over 10 higher education institution of Ukraine .

The Student Council of MIP cares about national-patriotic education, which is confirmed by such an event as, for example, Continuous reading of Ukrainian poetry.

Artyom Bidenko, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, made a very interesting presentation on “Stages of creating “Ukraine now” brand of the state of Ukraine and prospects for the world development”.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Yuriy Stets thanked all the participants and emphasized that it is the young people who can and must change the country. Sobotiuk Marina (Advisor to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine on International Affairs, coordinator of the Student Council under the Ministry) thanked all those present for their attention and active participation, and also discussed the project plan for 2019.
