Lecture and Workshop at KMU Polish Campus: Commitment to Education and Professional Growth

On July 18, as part of the KMU Voices Project initiative, the Polish Campus of Kyiv Medical University hosted a guest lecture and hands-on workshop on the topic:

“From Testing to Treatment: Comprehensive Care for People Living with HIV and STI Prevention”

The speaker of the event was Dr. Piotr Karniej, RN, MSN — a certified medical professional, public health expert, HIV/AIDS/STI counselor, and board member of the Trzy Końce Foundation in Katowice.

During the session, students received structured and up-to-date insights on:

 modern approaches to HIV/STI testing and treatment
 comprehensive patient care strategies
 ethical communication with vulnerable populations
 practical aspects of interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare
