International students celebrated World Vyshyvanka Day

Vyshyvanka Day is a good occasion to spend time with our international students, wouldn’t you agree?

We use every opportunity to help the representatives of other countries to get acquainted with the traditions and peculiarities of Ukraine. On World Vyshyvanka Day, we learned a lot of interesting information about Ukrainian traditional clothing: the vyshyvankas, embroidered towels, zupans and skirts. We also understood the meaning of ornaments and colors used in different regions of Ukraine. And of course, We tried on a variety of Ukrainian outfits.
