Results of HORLIVSKA PREMIER LEAGUE 2021

For the first time, Kyiv Medical University held its first cricket tournament “HORLIVSKA PREMIER LEAGUE 2021” for our international students!

It took place on September 11-12, 2021 and was dedicated to both 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence and 30th anniversary of the University.

Overall, 4 teams, with more than 50 participants, took part in the tournament. Borys Ivnyev, rector of the University, and Kostiantyn Kachan, dean of the International Faculty, greeted the participants with a welcoming speech. They wished the participants of the tournament victory and cut the symbolic ribbon.

Our tournament had two stages.
In the first one, each team played with each other to form standings. The second one had playoffs, where the results of the group stage determined the winner of the tournament.

In the end, the winners of these exhilarating and interesting games were:
– Cricket Hitters 18 (Winner)
– The Wolfpacks (Runner-ups)
– Animesh Rana (Man Of The Tournament)
– Shashank Matta (Best Bowler)
– Mohd Ahsan (Best Batsman)

All winners were presented with medals and cups by the president of Kyiv Medical University himself, Oleksandr Pokanevych.
