Practical training sessions and workshops for KMU Polish Campus students

As part of the KMU Medical Summer Camp, students from all years participated in another series of practical workshops and hands-on training sessions. The Summer Camp combines lectures delivered by distinguished international medical experts with weekly practical sessions led by the experienced faculty of KMU Polish Campus.

This unique format enables students not only to strengthen their theoretical knowledge but also to continuously develop practical competencies, work with modern medical technologies and equipment, and choose educational activities that match their professional interests and level of training.

This week’s programme covered a broad spectrum of contemporary medicine, including mental health, emergency care, clinical anatomy, medical massage, and anatomical dissection.

The practical sessions included:

• Liliia Martynova — Introduction to mhGAP: Management of Mental, Neurological and Substance Use Disorders;
• Olena Rozhkova — Heart Dissection;
• Vitalii Lukianenko — Medical Massage: Indications, Techniques and Evaluation of Effectiveness;
• Iryna Avramenko — Basic Life Support (BLS);
• Olena Lobova — Clinical Anatomy and Examination of the Nose and Paranasal Sinuses in Children.

Practice-oriented education, innovative teaching methods, and direct interaction with experienced faculty members and distinguished international guest experts are at the core of the educational philosophy of Kyiv Medical University Polish Campus. Through initiatives such as the KMU Medical Summer Camp, our students gain the knowledge, practical skills, and professional confidence needed to succeed in today’s global healthcare environment.
