Our students will participate of the International Anatomy, Histology and Pathological Anatomy Olympiad

Let us support our students that will take part in the International Anatomy, Histology and Pathological Anatomy Olympiad, which will take place in online format on the Webex platform, on October 20, 2021. The Olympiad is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The organizer of the Olympiad is Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov (KazNMU).

The main goal of the Olympiad is to improve the quality of education, scientific potential of students and to establish friendly relations between medical institutions of higher education.

The Olympiad will consist of cases on morphology, naming eponyms, captains’ competition and the “Four pictures – one answer” quiz, based on the results of which 3 winning teams of the Olympiad will be determined.

The Department of Anatomy, Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery of our University is responsible for preparing the students for participation in the Olympiad. Primarily, head of the department, Iryna Kerechanyn (PhD in medicine, associate professor) and Larysa Sankova (PhD in medicine, associate professor).
