Ongoing Summer Clinical Practice at KMU Polish Campus

For the second consecutive month, both Ukrainian and international students are gaining invaluable practical experience during the Summer Clinical Practice at KMU Polish Campus.

Medicine and Dentistry students are currently participating in diverse and hands-on practice sessions at several prestigious medical facilities including the Katowice Emergency Service, Sosnowiec Hospital, NL Dental Clinic Katowice, and many more.

During their practice, Medicine students are mastering essential skills such as establishing clinical diagnoses, daily patient examinations, assessing laboratory and instrumental research methods, and providing emergency care in intensive care units. Additionally, they are practicing techniques in assisting with fibrogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy procedures.

Dentistry students are refining their skills in various treatments such as caries management, fluoride varnish application, pulp treatment by biological and surgical methods, and root canal therapy using advanced techniques. They are also honing their skills in professional oral hygiene, including plaque and tartar removal, as well as mastering irrigation, application, and instillation procedures.
