Kyiv Medical University successfully concludes the international Medical Law Lecture Series within the KMU Voices Project

On June 26, 2026, Kyiv Medical University hosted the final lecture of the Medical Law Lecture Series, organized as part of the KMU Voices project.
The lecture series was made possible through the cooperation between Kyiv Medical University, the European Association of Health Law (EAHL), and Yuston Info. Kyiv Medical University is the first and currently the only university in Ukraine to have signed a cooperation agreement with the European Association of Health Law. This partnership provides students, faculty members, healthcare professionals, and the wider academic community with access to lectures delivered by leading international experts in medical law, bioethics, and healthcare.

The lecture series served as an important platform for international academic dialogue and professional exchange, bringing together students, researchers, physicians, lawyers, and everyone interested in the contemporary challenges of medicine and law.

The final lecture was delivered by Professor Antonio Sarria-Santamera, MD, PhD, SFHEA, Professor of Medicine and Global Health at Nazarbayev University (Kazakhstan) and an internationally recognized expert in medicine, public health, health systems, and evidence-based medicine.

In his lecture, “Personalized Medicine and Public Health: From Molecular Mechanisms to Population Health,” Professor Sarria-Santamera presented contemporary approaches to personalized medicine, explored the relationship between molecular research, clinical practice, and population health, and discussed the role of innovative technologies in the development of modern healthcare systems.
