KMU congratulates 6th-year students on successfully passing a key final examThe Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) marks a significant milestone on the journey to becoming a doctor. Kyiv Medical University extends a heartfelt congratulations to our VI–th-year students on successfully passing this important exam—one of the most defining stages in their medical training! What is OSCE?OSCE is an internationally recognized method for assessing the practical skills of medical students, widely implemented in medical schools across the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and many other countries. This standardized examination format ensures an objective evaluation of students’ readiness for clinical practice, aligning with global medical education standards. Many licensing and accreditation bodies worldwide recognize OSCE as a crucial step in preparing future doctors for real-world medical challenges. The exam was conducted at Kyiv Medical University’s Center for Simulation Training and Assessment (CSTA), where students demonstrated their clinical competencies in a controlled, practical environment. How did the exam go?Throughout the examination, students navigated a series of clinical stations, each designed to assess a specific set of competencies required for medical practice: More than just a test of knowledge, OSCE is a true measure of a future doctor’s ability to apply their expertise in real-life clinical settings. Our students have demonstrated a high level of preparedness, quick decision-making, and the ability to work under pressure. Their performance reaffirms the high standards of medical education at Kyiv Medical University, and we take immense pride in their achievements! To those still preparing for this challenge, we extend our best wishes. May your dedication and hard work lead you toward the noble profession you aspire to. Go ahead to the profession of your dreams! 11.02.2025
