Kyiv Medical University at the Third Transnational Partner Meeting of the Re-Direction Project in AthensThe third transnational partner meeting of the Re-Direction project took place in Athens, Greece, bringing together international academic partners and experts for two days of intensive collaboration, discussions, and knowledge exchange. The meeting was organized by Metropolitan College at its central campus in Athens (Akadimias 42) and was held on May 28–29, 2026, within the framework of Project No. 101128509. The event gathered consortium partners to assess the progress achieved, present results, and define the next stages of project implementation. Kyiv Medical University was represented at the meeting by Tetiana Odintsova, Associate Professor of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Physical Rehabilitation. The first day of the meeting began with an official welcome session, followed by a general overview of the project and presentations of key work packages. Particular attention was devoted to the outcomes of WP4 – “Pilot Experience” and WP5 – “Policy Recommendations,” highlighting the practical achievements and strategic directions developed within the project framework. During the first day, Tetiana Odintsova delivered a presentation on the results of the Re-Direction platform pilot project, outlining the achievements and outcomes of all partners during the pilot launch period from October 2025 to May 2026. The central event of the first day was an interactive workshop entitled “Statehood Under Pressure: Teaching Democracy in Times of Conflict and Crisis,” which explored innovative approaches to civic education in the context of current geopolitical challenges. The second day was dedicated to ensuring the long-term sustainability of the project outcomes and strengthening strategies for the dissemination of project results. Representatives of partner institutions presented plans to maximize the project’s impact within academic communities and among policymakers. Project participants also visited the main and maritime campuses of Metropolitan College, providing them with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the educational environment of the host institution. This transnational meeting marked an important milestone for the Re-Direction project, as it strengthened international cooperation and contributed to the advancement of education, policy development, and democratic resilience in Europe. 03.06.2026
