KMU Voices Guest Lecture: Dermato-OncologyKMU invites you to a specialized lecture and interactive scientific game on dermato-oncology. The focus will be on the relationship between skin color and the risk of developing skin cancer — a crucial topic in modern dermatology. Topics include: the protective role of melanin against UV radiation, tumor subtypes more common in darker skin types, and challenges related to late diagnosis. These insights are vital for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes.

•Born in Kyiv, March 22, 1966, in a family of doctors; great-granddaughter of academician Oleksandr Bohomolets.
•Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences (2003), Professor (2007), Doctor of Philosophy (2018)
•Chief Physician and founder of the Institute of Dermatology and Cosmetology
•Coordinator of the European Association of Laser Dermatology (Eastern Europe), member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology
•Philanthropist, founder of Radomysl Castle and the Museum of Ukrainian Home Icons and Antiquities “Soul of Ukraine”
•Author of 70+ scientific works and 14 patents in dermatology
