KMU Polish Campus students take part in team-based VR clinical simulations

On July 24, 2026, as part of the Medical Summer Camp, students from Years 1–6 participated in an exciting team-based Virtual Reality (VR) medical simulation challenge.

Three teams brought together students from different stages of medical education. Beyond successfully completing realistic clinical scenarios within the required time and in accordance with international medical guidelines, participants were challenged to communicate effectively, collaborate with teammates they had not previously worked with, and build a strong interdisciplinary team under pressure—an essential skill in modern healthcare.

All teams successfully completed the challenge, while the event combined practical learning, teamwork, healthy competition, and an inspiring atmosphere.

The simulation session was led by Iryna Avramenko, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine and Occupational Diseases.
