GUEST LECTURES AS PART OF THE “BRIDGES OF KNOWLEDGE” EDUCATIONAL PROJECT: “A Happy Smile: Secrets to Preserving Teeth and Periodontal Health”

Scheduled for November–December 2026, the project brings together Kyiv Medical University’s main campus in Kyiv and its Polish Campus in Katowice.

The programme is organised in cooperation with representatives of King Danylo Lviv National Medical University:

Anastasiia Bab’iachok — Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry.

Adriana Baryliak — PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Therapeutic Dentistry.

Students from KMU’s Dentistry and Medicine faculties will actively participate in the programme.

This interuniversity cooperation will help students deepen their theoretical knowledge, develop practical skills, and explore modern approaches to preventing and treating dental and periodontal diseases. It will also encourage students to undertake their own research and practical projects and present their findings at conferences and congresses.

The first opportunity to present these findings will be the 2nd Annual International Scientific and Practical Conference for Students and Young Scientists, taking place on December 4–5, 2026, at KMU Polish Campus in Katowice, as part of the project.

The programme will also include a round-table discussion on improving the Dentistry educational and professional programme, introducing innovative teaching approaches, and enhancing the quality of education.
