It promotes high-quality education, academic mobility, professional development, intercultural dialogue, and collaboration among higher education institutions across Europe and beyond. For students of KMU, Erasmus+ provides opportunities to study or complete internships at partner universities abroad, gain valuable international academic experience, enhance professional competencies, and represent KMU in the international academic community. WHO CAN APPLY? Students of the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy (Years 1–5) at KMU are eligible to participate, subject to the requirements of the announced selection competition. HOW TO APPLY?
KMU EXPERIENCE IN ERASMUS+ Kyiv Medical University is an active participant in the Erasmus+ Programme, implementing international academic mobility initiatives and developing partnerships with European higher education institutions. The University is engaged in projects aimed at modernizing medical education, promoting digital competencies, inclusive education, and expanding opportunities for students and academic staff. Students of the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry participate in the Erasmus+-funded international project “We Need Your Superpower. How to Implement Activities Based on Diversity” (2024–2026), coordinated by the Foundation for the Development of Local Communities “Initiative” (Poland)
KMU is a partner in the RE-DIRECTION Project (2023–2026) together with universities from Germany, Greece, Georgia, and Ukraine, contributing to the development of innovative medical education and digital learning technologies
In 2025, Kyiv Medical University signed an Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreement (2025–2029) with the University of Rzeszów (Poland) under Key Action 171 – Learning Mobility of Higher Education Students and Staff, creating new opportunities for students and academic staff to study, teach, and collaborate with European partner universities.
