Educational visit to the European HealthTech Innovation Centre

Students of Kyiv Medical University Polish Campus took part in an educational visit to the European HealthTech Innovation Centre (EHTIC) at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Zabrze.

During the visit, participants explored the Centre’s modern laboratories and research facilities, learned about advanced technologies used in medicine, rehabilitation, and sport, and discovered innovative developments in bioinformatics, bioelectronics, biomechatronics, and biomaterials. Students also had the opportunity to see how cutting-edge scientific research is transformed into practical solutions that support disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

The visit provided valuable insight into the role of interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing modern healthcare and highlighted the importance of innovation in shaping the future of medicine.
