On April 4, 2024, another meeting of the “Cultural Portal” student’s discussion club was held on the online platform provided by the department of Humanities. As usual, English was used as the primary language for discussions. The topic of the meeting – “MENTAL HEALTH IN TIMES OF WAR AND TERRORISM” – generated significant interest among both Ukrainian and international participants, who prepared and delivered presentations followed by discussions.

All presentations sparked lively discussions among attending students and faculty members, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas.

Looking ahead, the Humanities Department announces its next meeting scheduled for the end of April 2024, themed “Alternative Medicine.” Given the topic’s significance, all are invited to participate either by giving presentations or attending as listeners. For further details, please reach out to the Humanities Department (2 Boryspilskaya St., room 306, email: i.shevchuk@kmu.edu.ua).

It’s worth noting that these gatherings offer an excellent opportunity to enhance English communication skills, connect with new acquaintances, and expand one’s social circle.
