An International UPSHIFT Training Program for Students Took Place at the Polish Campus of Kyiv Medical University in KatowiceA two-day UPSHIFT training program took place at the Polish Campus of Kyiv Medical University in Katowice, bringing together 23 participants from Ukraine, Poland, Nigeria, Egypt, and Türkiye. Over the course of two days, students worked in teams, learned the fundamentals of social project development, explored solutions to current social challenges, and designed their own initiatives. As a result, three projects were created: Psychology – a project aimed at supporting the mental health of medical students through individual and group-based assistance programs. Legalization – an initiative proposing new approaches to the integration of foreigners through education, volunteering, and expanded access to social opportunities. Rehabilitation – a project focused on innovative prosthetic solutions using modern technologies to improve the quality of life of people requiring rehabilitation. UPSHIFT provided an excellent opportunity to develop teamwork, project management, and innovative problem-solving skills. Most importantly, it allowed participants to see how ideas can be transformed into real projects capable of making a positive impact on society. The future of medicine is being created today!
