A historic milestone for Kyiv Medical University! KMU’s first student begins long-term academic mobility under the Erasmus+ programme!

We are delighted to congratulate Sofia Kupris, a second-year student of the Faculty of Medicine at Kyiv Medical University, who has become the first KMU student to participate in the Erasmus+ KA171 Long-Term Mobility programme!

While our students have previously participated in short-term academic mobility programmes (Short-Term Mobility), today marks the beginning of a new chapter in KMU’s international cooperation!

Thanks to our partnership with the University of Rzeszów (Uniwersytet Rzeszowski, Poland), Sofia will spend an entire academic semester studying at a European university.

•  Tuition-free education in English.
•  An Erasmus+ scholarship of €1,000 per month.
•  A full academic semester at a Polish university.
•  Recognition of academic credits by KMU upon her return, allowing Sofia to seamlessly continue her medical education at her home university.

This is more than just an opportunity for one student. It is a significant step towards strengthening Kyiv Medical University’s international integration and creating new educational opportunities for our students.

We remain committed to expanding our partnerships with European universities, enabling our students to gain valuable international experience while remaining an integral part of the KMU academic community.
