Defense of coursework in clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care

On 27 November 2025, the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy hosted the defense of course projects by 5th-year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Psychology, and Management.

The students successfully presented the results of their research devoted to methodological approaches to the pharmacotherapy of patients with comorbid conditions and to algorithms of pharmaceutical care — from assessing medication-related risks to developing personalized recommendations.

This event holds particular significance for the students of the Educational and Professional Program “Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy.” The defense served as a practical training ground for clinical thinking, the ability to work with evidence-based sources, structure pharmaceutical problems, and justify therapeutic decisions.

At the same time, it represents an important step in improving the educational program itself: the students’ results and level of preparedness make it possible to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching approaches, adjust course content, and strengthen the practical component.

The defense confirmed that future professionals are demonstrating mature skills and readiness for professional practice, while the educational program continues to develop in a way that truly supports their professional growth.
