Meeting of the Student Scientific Circle “Cultural Portal” Department of Humanities

On May 9, 2024, the student scientific English-language circle “Cultural Portal” had its final annual meeting at the Department of Humanities. The topic, “Alternative Medicine,” interested both Ukrainian and international students.

Senior Lecturer I.K. Shevchuk from the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines moderated and led the meeting.
Presentations were given by:
– Evgenia Salimova, group M 2206 (guided by Senior Lecturer I.K. Shevchuk), who provided an in-depth analysis of various categories of alternative medicine, discussing their effectiveness and safety.
– Elena Vlasova, group F 2201 (under the guidance of Senior Lecturer A.V. Yurchenko), who focused on energy therapy.
– Alina Tatarintseva, group C 2303 (guided by Senior Lecturer Yu.I. Sardanova), who offered detailed information on naturopathy.
– Kurrum Shazad, group MA 2301o (guided by Senior Lecturer I.K. Shevchuk), who discussed different types of alternative medicine and their distinctive features.

The presentations sparked an active discussion in English, involving both students and faculty members from the department.
