For foreign students


There are two intact during 2018. The first one, in winter, starts on 9th January till 1st March, the second – on 12th July and till 1st November.

The University provides admission for such major faculties as General Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy either in Russian or English medium. In winter we admit on the General Medicine in English medium only.

The first step for a foreign student is to get an invitation from the University for study by submitting to the International Department by e-mail: invites@kmu.edu.ua the scan copies of: passport first page; school certificate with subjects; and consent to personal data collection and processing. After receiving visa in diplomatic or consular establishment of Ukraine in the country of residence of the student, it is time to have a trip to Kyiv.

The student has to submit the following documents to the University on the arrival:

The intact for 2017/2018 academic years starts on 12th July and lasts till 1st November, on faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy, English or Russian medium.

The student has to submit the following documents to the University on the arrival to Ukraine:

1.      Original (and Copy) School Certificate with the subjects and grades.

2.      Medical Certificate issued by the Department of Health in the student’s Country at least two months prior to the student’s arrival to Ukraine.

3.      Original (and Copy) of Birth Certificate.

4.      Original of Invitation Letter.

5.      Passport and one photo copy (front page and page with Ukrainian visa).

6.      12 photos, size 3,5×4,5, matte.

Documents under pp. 1,2,3,5 should be translated into Ukrainian and notarized, under pp. 1,2 and 3 – legalized by the Ukrainian diplomatic or consular missions in your country. Read more…

General information

The University is one of the largest Ukrainian private schools, the only private medical university of such scale as: there about 2,000 people, among them 25% of foreign students from 56 countries, including 55 students from Nigeria. There above 400 staff members, not mention the administrative employees, has been working over the latest educational technologies, improving clinical and educational centers, equipment supporting departments, improvement of University logistics and students' comfort as well. Today the number of graduates has reached the number of 4,000 persons. 


The basic activity of preparatory faculty of Kyiv Medical University lies in teaching foreign citizens Ukrainian (Russian) language and disciplines of a general course in accordance with the chosen section (medical biological, technical, humanitarian). The main section of the study is medical biologic one.
